The golf world is lighting up as players and fans attempt to answer the question of the century it seems. Which of social media’s blonde golfing sensations will own the title of the biggest female influencer in the realm of golf? The reigning queen Paige Spiranac or the up-and-coming Claire Hogle?

After a recent interview with the Daily Star, other outlets ranging from OutKick to the New York Post began to ask the question as to whether newcomer Claire Hogle would become the “next Paige Spiranac” in terms of golfers who also model online, which only made the question itself spread like wildfire.

It’s not hard to wonder why people would wonder. The two blondes in their early to mid twenties share similar levels of beauty, know how to play an impressive game of golf, have legions of male fans and demand large audiences on social media, which has only helped propel their brands to new levels.

The focus on Hogle gained the attention of many when the young golfer surpassed 500k followers on Instagram in late June, shortly after Paige Spiranac had been featured on the cover of Maxim’s 2022 Hot 100 issue. While Spiranac currently boasts a Instagram following of 3.4 million, the attention on her quickly redirected to Hogle’s social media accomplishment, and from there it appeared like Spiranac might have some stiff competition for the attention of the golf world going forward.

Hogle, who played golf at Cal State San Marcos throughout college, considers herself a “huge golf gal.”

According to the Sun, Hogle said that despite her father being a lifelong golf enthusiast, her passion for golfing didn’t arrive until her mother convinced her to give the sport a try in high school, at least for one season. Afterwards, she was hooked, saying that “I didn’t want to at first, but I ended up really liking it and pursued it to take it further.”

Just like Spiranac, Hogle’s golf career never went pro, but that hasn’t stopped her from hitting the course regularly with a driver and a selfie-stick in hand. Since finishing college, she had also expanded her popular online presence to TikTok as well as YouTube, where she continues to share her love of golf with her audience.

Who do you think will ultimately get to say they’re the top Instagram model in the world of golf? Hogle or Spiranac?
