Boston Celtics interim head coach Joe Mazzulla made it very clear he does not pay attention to the British royal family when he was asked about William Mountbatten-Windsor and Kate Middleton attending the game against the Miami Heat on November 30th.

William and Kate were in Boston to attend the 2022 Earthshot Prize Awards, which is an annual prize given by William’s Earthshot organization. The organization appears to be completely delusional as one of its main aims is “cutting out carbon” and “building a carbon-neutral economy.”

Specifically the organization buys into the global warmer theory claiming, “Carbon in the atmosphere is making our planet warmer, to levels which threaten all life on Earth. But it is not too late; if we act now, we can make the world a better, more sustainable home for everyone.”

During a post-game press conference, Mazzulla was asked, “Did you get a chance to meet with the royal family? And if not how was it like having them there in the building?”

Mazzulla responded with a straight face, “Jesus, Mary, and Joseph?” The reporter replied, “The Prince and Princess of Wales.”

Mazzulla then said, “Oh, no, I did not. I’m only familiar with one royal family. I don’t know too much about that one. But I’m glad, hopefully, they’re Celtics fans.”

As the Catechism of the Catholic Church notes, “From the beginning of Christian history, the assertion of Christ’s lordship over the world and over history has implicitly recognized that man should not submit his personal freedom in an absolute manner to any earthly power, but only to God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Casear is not ‘the Lord.’ ‘The Church…believes that the key, the center, and the purpose of the whole of man’s history is to be found in its Lord and Master.”

The Windsor family rejected this teaching when Henry VIII had himself declared the Supreme Head of the Church of England and Thomas Cromwell was appointed the vicar-general of this new church.

He enforced this through “a veritable reign of terror.” This terror involved the executions of Bishop John Fisher and St. Thomas More.

Mazzulla wasn’t the only one unimpressed by William and Kate attending the Boston Celtics game. Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown was also asked about what it was like to play in front of them.

He responded, “It was just a regular game to me.”

The Celtics defeated the Heat 134-121 with Jayson Tatum scoring 49 points. Brown had 26 points with Malcolm Brogdon contributing 21 points and hitting five of the team’s 22 3-pointers.
