NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace, known across the motorsports world for bringing the drama with him wherever he goes, is once again giving his critics another opportunity to rag on him.

Things started getting off to a rocky start on Saturday at the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Tyson 250 when reporters asked Wallace in a post-race interview his feelings on being loudly booed by fans after the race. By the look on his face and way he carried himself, it was easy to tell that it was bothering him regardless of how he said it felt.

Wallace told reporters he was essentially making too much money to care about what haters (NASCAR fans) in the stands think of his performance on the track and him personally.

“Hey, as long as you continue to live your life, judging a book by its core, that’s who you are,” Wallace stated about those who booed him.

“Don’t change it up for anybody else,” he continued. “That’s the biggest thing. That’s fine. I mean I finished 5th. I got a good payday. I’m good.”

That’s all well and good, but after Sunday’s NASCAR CUP Series All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway, Wallace made it loud and clear that in fact, he was upset about being booed and criticized after all— delivering a signature Bubba Wallace Moment of pettiness.

After finishing second behind driver Kyle Larson, Wallace was just beginning another when he looked away from the camera and very clearly flipped the bird to the camera, before nonchalantly continuing with the interview.

Wallace obviously intended it to tick off his haters, and oh boy, they came out in force on Twitter almost immediately.

“Bubba Wallace being all class again. NOT!” Tweeted NASCAR fan Ronnie Greene. “What a jack leg. He knew he was on camera with Fox too. #AllStarRace”
