March Madness is underway and who better to tip things off with than … golf influencer Paige Spiranac? Yep, because that’s how we roll here at Bounding Into Sports.

The NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament kicked off Thursday with a 16-game schedule to be followed by another 16 games today. (Yes, we know there were the ‘First Four’ games earlier this week but sorry, those are just extended play-in games and shouldn’t count as first-round wins or losses. Ever.)

The most shocking result from Thursday’s action involved the 14-seed Oakland Golden Grizzlies, who were 13.5 point underdogs, beating the 3-seed Kentucky Wildcats by a score of 80-76.

Other notable upsets included all three 11-seeds advancing: Oregon over South Carolina, 87-73, North Carolina State over Texas Tech, 80-67, and Duquesne over BYU, 71-67.

New Mexico can make it a clean sweep for the 11 seeds when they take on Clemson today.

But it’s what happened off the court that matters most. (No, not really, but we’re gonna cover it anyway!)

Paige Spiranac Tips Things Off Right

Paige Spiranac kicked off March Madness events as only she could, posting a racy image that would cause anybody with a working set of eyes to double dribble.

And if you were one of the 1.3 million people who viewed the image, March Madness probably got a whole lot happier for you.

Bracket Bust

It kind of eases the pain a bit, doesn’t it? Especially for Kentucky fans or anybody who had them going to the Final Four. When your bracket is a bust, you can always rely on Paige Spiranac to inflate your spirits.

Also on Thursday, Paige posted a new video about custom drivers.

Recently she offered up tips on how to “golf with boobs” which, as anybody knows is essential knowledge.

“I get this question a lot. Yes, playing golf with boobs is hard,” she said. “The key is all in the set up! Try to get the left arm over the left and tuck the right arm.”

“You’re welcome,” she concluded, clearly anticipating the reaction of everybody who saw the image accompanying her tip.

On a side note, all three teams included in our list of lovable losers headed into the NCAA tournament lost their games. Bringing their overall records now to 0-35 in the Big Dance.

Nebraska and Colgate will have a chance to break the hex in today’s matchups.

Maybe Paige can help lift their spirits before the big game.
