NFL Draft, Bo Nix
Vasha Hunt-USA TODAY Sports

Former Oregon quarterback Bo Nix might very well find himself as a first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft Thursday night.

However, he is not as highly regarded as consensus No. 1 pick Caleb Williams from USC. The likes of Drake Maye (North Carolina), Jayden Daniels (LSU), J.J. McCarthy (Michigan) and Michael Penix Jr. (Washington) will all likely go ahead of Nix in the annual event.

But what about looks? Did we even check in on who the most-handsome quarterback prospect is? Sexiest? No, we honestly didn’t even think about it.

Apparently, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is all over it. Let’s explain before everyone is creeped out a bit too much.

Best Sports Betting Canada used an AI to rank 2024 NFL Draft quarterbacks on attractiveness. Yes, AI is now ranking how humans look. Get ready for our overlords. Seriously, get ready. Not joking. This isn’t a Sci-Fi movie or a drill. It’s “real life.” Ironic, right?

Anyway, Nix grades out by AI at 7.84 on a scale to 10. The aforementioned Williams “ranks” second at 6.91. Maye comes in third (6.9).

No, that’s not an AI-created photo of Nix. It’s the former Oregon quarterback talking to the media during the NFL Scouting Combine earlier this year.

Here are the overall grades for 2024 draft quarterbacks based on AI rankings. This is an actual sentence I typed. I’m not really too sure how to feel about that.

  1. Bo Nix: 7.84
  2. Caleb Williams: 6.91
  3. Drake Maye: 6.9
  4. Jayden Daniels: 6.39
  5. J.J. McCarthy: 6.37
  6. Michael Penix Jr.: 6.25

It really wouldn’t be fair to simply show Nix. We have to let you guys judge for yourselves and not leave it up to AI.

Now that we all feel dirty, enjoy the NFL Draft Thursday night. It might be the last one before AI is actually making the picks instead of general managers.
