The Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is firing back after the actress Jana Kramer accused him of being a bad influence on his singer girlfriend Taylor Swift.
Kelce Defends Himself
Daily Mail reported that Kramer, who is best known for her work on the television show One Tree Hill, spoke out earlier this week to claim that Kelce is a bad influence on Swift because of his drinking habits.
A source close to Kelce has since responded to this by alleging to TMZ that the NFL star was “taken aback” by Kramer’s comments.
Kelce reportedly has never met Kramer and believes that she is “blowing hot air” in a desperate and pathetic attempt to get herself some time in the spotlight. Moving forward, Kelce is allegedly trying to ignore Kramer’s comments and move forward with his relationship with Swift.
This comes after Kramer eviscerated Kelce on Sunday’s episode of her podcast Whine Down with Jana Kramer.
“To me he’s always drunk,” she said of Kelce. “Every time I’ve ever seen a video, he’s just always drunk.”
Kramer went on to claim that Kelce is influencing Swift with his behavior.
“I see her drinking more now because of the company you keep,” she said.

Kramer Doubles Down
Kramer also said that she was initially a huge fan of Kelce and Swift’s relationship. She watched a clip of the singer running offstage to hug him after a concert “a million times.” Since then, however, Kramer has started to get turned off by Kelce’s “aggression,” saying that it has “rubbed me the wrong way.”
“It’s just something about him reminds me of my ex,” said Kramer, who was married to the NFL star Mike Caussin from 2015 until 2021, according to E! News.
Kramer concluded her rant about Kelce and Swift’s relationship by saying that she just wants “everyone to be happy.”
Another source has since responded by saying that Kelce does not have a drinking problem.
“The guy is under a microscope, basically being watched everywhere he goes,” this source told Page Six. “Of course you’re going to see him drinking. He’s being watched everywhere he goes.”
This source added that Kelce is just a “normal human being” who is doing what everyone else does.

Kelce And Swift’s Relationship
Kelce and Swift went public with their relationship in September of last year. They’ve been making headlines together ever since. Swift was a staple on the sidelines of Kansas City Chiefs games last NFL season, cheering on Kelce’s team all the way to the Super Bowl.
“I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Swift told Time Magazine of her attendance at Kelce’s games in December of 2023.
Swift undoubtedly won’t like Kramer’s comments about her relationship, but she has yet to respond to them publicly. As Swift resumes her Eras tour and Kelce begins preparation for the next NFL season, it will certainly be interesting to see where their relationship goes in the coming months!
