Despite it being weeks ago, the roast of NFL legend Tom Brady continues to have repercussions. We know that the seven-time Super Bowl champion was not too happy about some of the jokes at his expense during the Netflix special.

Brady also wasn’t happy about New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft being on the receiving end of some crude jokes.

Fast forward a few weeks, and there is now another unintended consequence from the roast.

Accoring to In Touch, Brady’s ex-wife has seen her boyfriend call it quits on their relationship. The gossip rag notes that Joaquim Valente broke up with Gisele Bundchen. The reasoning? He was not happy about some of the jokes on the aforementioned roast.

This is real life stuff.

“The spotlight was too much for him. Joaquim’s a regular guy. He’s not used to all the attention he was getting,” report from In Touch. “Joaquim became part of the joke. People actually started asking him if he was the reason for their divorce. He hated that.”

More than that, Giselle apparently blames Brady for their break.

“She blames the break on Tom,” a source told In Touch. “By agreeing to do the roast, he basically put a target on Joaquim’s back.”

Brady and Bundchen divorced back in 2022 after years of marriage and having two children together. The break was pretty ugly behind the scenes, with the NFL legend believing that she had carried on an affair with Valente for years.

This new report comes one day after Brady was inducted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame. It was a wholesome event with his children paying homage to their father.

Now, Brady finds himself in the news again.

Some of the jokes in the roast seemingly targeted Valente. That included this one from Nikki Glaser.

As for Brady, he’s been linked to a few names on the celebrity dating circuit. But nothing concrete has popped up. The future Hall of Famer is set to debut as an in-game analyst for Fox NFL coverage this fall.
