Former Miami Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard is still looking for work after being released earlier this offseason. The four-time Pro Bowler has yet to latch on with a team.

We now might know why. According to CBS Sports Miami, Howard is being accused by multiple people of revenge porn in lawsuits.

The allegations are about as troubling as it gets.

“Former Miami Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard is being sued for sexual misconduct after one ex-girlfriend and the son of a second ex-girlfriend claimed that the NFL player publicly shared ‘sexually explicit material’ of the two women and others without their consent.”

Report on Xavien Howard

Court documents say that one of the accusers had a sexual relationship with Howard. But once she refused further advances, the former Dolphin player allegedly circulated explicit videos of her without the woman’s consent. It left her “debased and utterly humilated,” according to documents.

But there are even more troubling allegations against Howard.

Howard allegedly received the cellphone numbers of women’s children so that they could text him should their phones die. One allegation indicates that Howard sent sexually explicit photos of the son’s mother while they were in a fight. The son was reportedly a minor at the time.

While the material was deleted from the phone before the kid saw it, he was able to view the material using his iCloud account.

These are some serious allegations headed in Howard’s direction.

On the field, Howard has been among the best cornerbacks in the NFL since Miami selected him in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft out of Baylor.

The Houston native has earned four Pro Bowl trips. He led the NFL in interceptions both in 2018 (seven) and 2020 (10).

Obviously, these allegations could have an impact on the 30-year-old’s future in the NFL.
