41-Year-Old Comeback Queen Stuns in Black Bikini During Snowy Alps Getaway Ahead of Milan-Cortina Games

Olympic skiing legend Lindsey Vonn is proving that age is just a number, both on the slopes and off them. The 41-year-old American icon, who is mounting a remarkable return to competition for her fifth Winter Olympics, shared a striking Instagram video this week.

The video shows off her incredibly toned physique in a black bikini while enjoying a relaxing dip in a private heated outdoor pool.

The footage, captured during a snowy getaway at The Wiesergut, a boutique hotel in the Austrian Alpine resort town of Saalbach-Hinterglemm, features Vonn stepping into the steaming thermal pool amid surrounding snow-covered mountains.

Is the pool hotter? Or is Vonn? You decide.

Vonn, a three-time Olympic medalist and winner of 84 World Cup races—including the 2010 Olympic downhill gold—retired in 2019 but announced her comeback late last year.

She underwent a partial knee replacement in April 2024, a procedure that played a key role in her decision to return.

Vonn has stated that the 2026 Milan-Cortina Games, particularly the Cortina venue, inspired her return, noting she “wouldn’t even try this if it wasn’t in Cortina.”

Her resurgence has been impressive. Vonn recently won the women’s downhill at the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup in Zauchensee, Austria, and placed second in the super-G in Tarvisio, Italy, finishing behind Lara Gut-Behrami.

She also set a record as the oldest female World Cup podium finisher at age 40 last March in Sun Valley, Idaho.

On Monday, Vonn was officially named to the U.S. roster for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, set for February 6-22 (with some events beginning February 4).

As one of 232 American athletes selected, she is expected to compete in the downhill, super-G, and combined team events, potentially becoming the oldest Alpine skier ever to race at a Winter Olympics.

Known for her modeling appearances, including three features in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue (2010, 2016, and 2019), Vonn’s latest post underscores her enduring confidence and athletic form as she gears up for what she has described as her final Olympic chapter.
