Former LSU gymnast and mega-influencer Olivia “Livvy” Dunne is making her professional acting debut in Fox’s upcoming reboot of the iconic 1990s series Baywatch.
According to reports from Deadline and other outlets, the 23-year-old Dunne has been cast in a recurring role as Grace, described as a “highly enthusiastic junior lifeguard.”
That sounds like an absolutely perfect role for Livvy. This would mark her first acting gig after retiring from the gymnastics world at LSU.
“Time to get to work!!” she wrote on social media, following news of her big acting break.
Will her role on Baywatch be as iconic as that of another blonde bombshell, Pamela Anderson?

Dunne, who boasts millions of followers across social media platforms and has built a massive personal brand through endorsements, recently shared that she has been taking acting lessons and exploring the entertainment side of her career.
“It’s something I’ve been passionate about for quite some time,” she told People magazine. “I was interested in doing that at LSU, but sports are your top priority when you’re a student-athlete at school; school and sports, but really gymnastics was my main focus.”

The Baywatch reboot has been greenlit by Fox for the 2026-27 television season.
It features a fresh ensemble cast blending established actors and social media personalities. Stephen Amell (known for Arrow) stars as Hobie Buchannon, the son of David Hasselhoff’s original Mitch Buchannon character.
Hobie? The hell kind of name is that?
Other confirmed cast members include Shay Mitchell, Hassie Harrison, Jessica Belkin, Brooks Nader, Thaddeus LaGrone, and more.
Dunne, who has been in a relationship with Pittsburgh Pirates ace and Cy Young winner Paul Skenes since they met as student-athletes at LSU in 2023, teased her exciting career shift earlier this week.
On social media, she explained her absence from Skenes’ highly anticipated start for Team USA against Mexico in the World Baseball Classic, posting playfully: “Ya girl had work but… GO USA RAHHH.”
The first table read for Baywatch took place recently.
While details on episode count, exact premiere date, or Dunne’s screen time remain limited, reports suggest she will appear in multiple episodes of the first season.
More time on screen for Livvy will make her fans very, very happy.
