Nellie Biles and her daughter Simone apparently tried to get a photo with Snoop Dogg in 2010 but were blown off by the legendary rapper turned Olympic analyst.

Mrs. Biles held onto that moment for a bit, it seems, bringing it up to the D-O- Double G during the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremonies.

She called him out on national television, people. The 74-year-old was introduced to Snoop for a segment with Hoda Kotb pointing out that they’d known each other for a “long time.”

He seemed surprised. Then the surprise got even bigger.

“I remember, I will never forget that we met you in Times Square, 2010, and you said — ’cause we asked for a picture — you said, ‘Two minutes,’” she recalled.

“One, two — and you were gone!”

Snoop Dogg Laughs It Off

Gotta love the good ol’ fashioned ribbing. And the chutzpah to call him out on live television! To his credit, Snoop Dogg laughed off the story and pivoted to something else.

Also in his defense, Simone Biles wasn’t exactly on the world stage yet in 2010, having joined the National Team in 2012 and becoming a household name in 2016 by winning four gold medals at the Rio de Janeiro games.

No hard feelings, it would seem.

Especially when Snoop was seen watching Simone in the Paris qualifying performance, now wearing her photo on his shirt.

Now he’s her fan!

Snoop Dogg On Commentary

What a world we live in. I mean, who could ever have predicted Snoop Dogg doing commentary for the Olympic Games?

The “Gin and Juice” singer was selected as a special correspondent for NBC’s coverage of the Paris Games. And that’s not all.

Snoop has been involved in several activities at the Olympics, if you can believe it. Including carrying the Olympic torch, interacting with athletes and their families, exploring Paris, and sharing his experiences and insights with the audience.

On the whole, it’s been pretty well received. It certainly provides a different take from the usual stuffy coverage in today’s sports.

Last month, Dogg delighted our readers with his baseball commentary during a Milwaukee Brewers game.
