Simone Biles, the 28-year-old Olympic gymnast and 11-time medalist, recently opened up about undergoing three plastic surgeries – one of which was a very noticeable breast augmentation.
Why is she opening up about them? So that “young girls” can see that she is transparent and comfortable with talking about her body. Or something.
Biles explained that her breast augmentation was motivated by a desire to feel better in her own body, not out of dissatisfaction with what God had given her.
“Okay, obviously you can notice the breasts,” she told People. “But other than that, it’s just feeling good about yourself and loving yourself, and I’ve always been very vocal about that.”
“And not that I didn’t like the way I looked or the way I felt,” added Biles. “It’s just something that I notice obviously a little bit more because I live in this body, I’m just so used to it.”
Simone Biles reveals two more plastic surgeries
The most-decorated Olympic gymnast of all time also admitted to having another surgery done to alter her appearance. And another after that.
She had a lower blepharoplasty, which Biles addressed as having hereditary “Biles eye bags” that plagued her family and were impossible to conceal during photo shoots. She describes them as a longstanding flaw she wanted to fix.
The third procedure repaired her earlobe, damaged in childhood when an earring was ripped out, a simple correction she mentioned alongside the others in a recent TikTok video.
In the interview, Simone also mentions getting Botox when she was 27 that “didn’t go well.”

Wrong message
Simone Biles’ explanation for revealing why she got breast implants and a host of other procedures is just a sea of contradictions. She mentions wanting to reassure “young girls” that the people they see on social media aren’t real.
“I also think it shows young girls that they have the right to their own choices, whatever they are, and that’s no shame added as well,” she said. “I feel like nowadays with social media, you see everyone and you’re like, ‘Oh my God, how does she look so good?'”
“Social media is not real, so that’s why I try to be as transparent as possible.”
Social media is not real, young ladies, but I’m going to take every artificial measure I possibly can to look as good as humanly possible… on social media.
“As long as you love yourself, that’s really all that matters,” was the message Biles concluded with, after explaining how she keeps getting plastic surgery to correct “flaws.”
Love yourself, she said. But in case you don’t, and you happen to have a lot of fame and money, you can turn yourself into something that maybe – maybe – you’ll finally be able to love.
Hopefully, young girls will only look up to Simone Biles for her athletic accomplishments.
