All-time great gymnast Simone Biles is joining the rest of Team USA in making their way over to Paris fo the start of the 2024 Summer Olympics later this month.
Biles earned yet another spot in the Summer Games via a tremendous performance earlier in the summer in rocking out to Taylor Swift.
She’s going to be looking to go for gold once again after earning a total of four earlier in her Olympic career. In all, Biles has medaled seven times in the Summer Olympics.
She’ll now have her partner on hand in France after the Chicago Bears gave safety Jonathan Owens permission to head overseas. He’ll miss Chicago’s first preseason game on Aug. 1 as well as four practices.
Bears head coach Matt Eberflus explained why the team is letting Owens miss time to see his significant other attempt to make more history.
“Just because we respect the Olympics,” Eberflus said, via ESPN. “That is a big deal. And he’s just supporting the one he loves the most. And I think that’s so cool that he gets to do that. We welcome that and it’s going to be awesome. Go USA.”

But Owens and Biles met back in 2020 when he was a member of the Houston Texans. They got married last year. The two just continue to be supportive of one another.
Biles will appear in four events during the Summer Olympics: the all-around, vault, uneven bars and balance beam.
She’ll now have her lesser half (kidding) on hand to cheer her on.
