Legendary rapper and entertainer Snoop Dogg was seen sporting a Simone Biles t-shirt at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

While the D-O-Double-G is serving as a commentator for NBC Sports during the Olympic Games, it’s clear he’s still just an F-A-N at heart.

Biles, a four-time Olympic gold medalist and a trailblazer in the world of gymnastics has inspired countless individuals with her skill, determination, and resilience.

And now she’s inspiring the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” artist and icon of the music industry.

Simone Biles’ Number One Fan? Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg’s presence at the Olympics has been nothing short of spectacular. From carrying the Olympic torch to providing commentary on various events, he has immersed himself in the spirit of the games.

But this is Simone’s world and Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. (Snoop’s real name) is just like all of us – in awe of her incredible talent.

And Mr. Dogg is starting a trend amongst the younger folks, which the Olympics desperately need.

The hashtag #SimoneBilesTShirt began trending on X while magazines like Teen Vogue were gushing over the shirt, describing it as “icons supporting icons.”

“Snoop Dogg is the unofficial, official Team USA ambassador, and he’s showing us exactly what it means to be patriotic at the 2024 Olympics,” they write. “Now, he’s at the Team USA gymnastics preliminaries with the GOAT, Simone Biles, across his chest.”

Not Everything Has Been Perfect

While Snoop Dogg is off to a hot start as an Olympic commentator showing his fandom for the United States, not everything has been perfect when it comes to Simone Biles.

Simone’s mom, Nellie Biles, took a playful jab at the rapper for ditching her and her daughter for a photo op a long time ago, well before the gymnast became famous.

“I remember, I will never forget that we met you in Times Square, 2010, and you said — ’cause we asked for a picture — you said, ‘Two minutes,’” Nellie recalled.

“One, two — and you were gone!”

Nothing quite like a momma scorned, eh Snoop?

As the 2024 Paris Olympics continue, it will be exciting to see what other surprises Snoop Dogg has in store.

One thing is for certain, though – his Simone Biles t-shirt has already made a lasting impression and will be remembered as one of the standout moments of the games.
