Ahead of his fight against Mike Tyson, Jake Paul posted a bizarre workout video to social media that has everyone talking for all the wrong reasons. The video sparked speculation about Paul’s belly.

Take a look:

Paul’s Belly Raises Questions

Paul, 27, is currently training for his November 15 fight against Tyson, 58. His latest video shows the YouTuber-turned-professional boxer setting a new personal record by bench-pressing 500 pounds.

“New PR, 500 pounds,” Paul said. “I am the strongest heavyweight in existence.”

“Strongest boxer in existence,” he added in the caption.

What really got people talking, however, was the way Paul’s belly looked. Indeed, his belly was pushed out and seemed to be missing quite a few of Paul’s tattoos. This made it appear that Paul was wearing a fake belly for unknown reasons. Why he would want to wear a fake belly is anyone’s guess!

Fans Respond

“When you due bro,” commented Paul’s brother Logan, a fellow YouTuber who wrestles for WWE and has boxing experience.

“What happened to ur belly bro,” one fan questioned, with another asking, “[Why] his stomach so out like that?”

Paul has a long history of trolling with his online content. That’s why some went so far as to suggest that he was even lifting fake weights in this video.

Just last month, Paul looked noticeably slimmer as he posted a shirtless video of himself surfing. When looking at that video compared to the workout video, it’s clear that multiple stomach tattoos are missing in the latter.

The fight between Paul and Tyson had initially been scheduled for July 20. However, they had to push it back to November due to an ulcer problem that Tyson was suffering from.

Tyson Sounds Off

Tyson has not fought professionally since 2005, when he lost his final fight against Kevin McBride. As he trains for his fight against Paul, Tyson has been opening up about his substance use.

“I smoked weed all my life,” Tyson said last week. “Listen, I was born an addict. I was born that way. I’m a junkie. So, that’s just how I was born.”

“I don’t know what to do…I don’t get high now, but that’s who I am…I switch my addiction to something else, but I’m a junkie,” he continued. “I was smoking not too long ago. I’m cool now, probably two weeks or so without smoking. I did a little mushrooms before I came here though.”

Will This Fight Actually Happen?

Since marijuana is on the list of banned substances used by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Tyson has given it up ahead of his fight with Paul. The regulators of the fight reportedly won’t assess Tyson until the day before the bout.

Tyson, however, is confidant that the fight will take place. When asked if he thinks he can defeat Paul, he replied in the affirmative, saying that he will do so “very badly.”

Paul’s belly in his workout video is just the latest strange element of this bizarre saga. It will certainly be interesting to see how this fight turns out, assuming it actually happens!
