Mike Tyson promised to bring one thing with him when he takes on Jake Paul in their highly publicized fight next month: Pain.

The battle between Jake Paul and “Iron” Mike is scheduled for Friday, November 15th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Originally set for July 20th, the fight was postponed due to the 58-year-old Tyson experiencing health issues related to an ulcer flare-up. The incident made boxing fans take a second look at the boxing legend’s vulnerability in going against someone over three decades younger.

But for The Baddest Man on the Planet, it hasn’t changed anything. Just prolonged the inevitable.

“It hasn’t changed much,” Tyson said at a promotional event. “It’s a fight I’ve been training for. I’ve been training a lot harder. I’m just ready. It’s hard to explain the training methods. I’m just ready to fight.”

Mike Tyson Says He Has Something For Jake Paul

While Mike Tyson’s health scare made many fans pause a moment, he is not lacking in confidence in what he might do to Jake Paul when the bell rings.

When a reporter asked what he foresaw, Tyson replied, “A lot of pain.”

“If I don’t have to catch him, you can expect a first-round knockout,” he continued. “I anticipate running after this guy for a round or two.”

Fans of “The Problem Child” might be wondering if the pain will be exclusively Mike’s. It was just a few weeks ago that Tyson suggested he was having trouble walking after workouts.

Tyson said things are “a little shaky now” and “it’s hard to walk right now,’’ but come fight night, “I’m going to be perfect.’’

So who’s going to be feeling it more when all is said and done?

People Are Worried

It’s certainly good to see The Baddest Man on the Planet reclaim the confidence he once had and will no doubt need if he’s going to stand toe to toe with Paul.

Others aren’t quite as optimistic.

Hulk Hogan, one of the most legendary characters in professional wrestling history, said Paul appears to be “too strong” and worried that he “might kill” Tyson.

Legendary broadcaster and boxing Hall of Famer Al Bernstein noted Tyson’s “advanced age” in taking on this fight.

“In his high 50s, you worry about what could happen to Tyson in this fight, to be honest,” Bernstein said. “I mean it’s hard to imagine him being effective in this, but I just hope everybody gets through it safely. That would be my only hope.”

For his part, Paul doesn’t think Tyson is going to get through it at all. In fact, he wagered an extra $5 million if the former heavyweight champ could last more than four rounds in the ring with him.
