Floyd Mayweather is considered one of the greatest boxing talents of all-time. He finished his career with a 50-0 record while boasting a total of 15 major world championships.
Outside of the boxing ring, Mayweather has been in the news for his philanthropy as well as some major drama involving law enforcement.
He’s also among the richest retired athletes in North America with a reported net worth of $400 million. Mayweather has not been afraid to flash this cash in public spaces, either.
That was taken to a whole new level ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers’ home playoff game against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday. But this time, Floyd did some good with that cash.

Floyd Mayweather Spots Homeless Men, Hands Them Loads Of Cash

According to TMZ Sports, Mayweather was leaving the Ritz in downtown Los Angeles heading to Crypto.Com Arena for Game 5 between the Clippers and Mavericks. He saw homeless men on the street before busting out his backpack and handing each of the three $10,000.
“I don’t want to show my face, but [Floyd] just gave us $30,000,” one of the homeless men said.
The men indicated that they did not want to be photographed for fear of being robbed. “We will go find a motel,” one of them said.
That’s not all. Mayweather also hooked up a few kids with $500 each while they were selling candy outside of the arena.
Floyd Mayweather Has Proven To Be Altruistic

Despite his run-ins with the law, some don’t realize how active Mayweather has been within the community. He doesn’t like to push it to the public for consumption — the definition of altruism within society.
Back in 2012, Mayweather paid $49,000 to cover the medical bills for a 10-month old baby who had undergone multiple surgeries because of a cardiac arrest. This act pretty much saved the youngster’s life.
Mayweather has previously donated to Cure Duchenne, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Ryan Seacrest Foundation and the Shriners Hospitals for Children. He’s also given $1 million each to Three Square Food Bank, the Rainbow Dreams Academy Charter School, Habitat for Humanity and the Susan G. Koman Chapter of Southern Nevada.
The Floyd Mayweather Jr. foundation has also played a major role in the community over the years.
“The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation strives to empower community alliances, impact youth leadership, promote health and wellness, and strengthen family foundations through community development, entrepreneurialism, and education resulting in a wholesome community,” the foundation’s mission statement reads.
