Joshua Has His Own Problems
One has to wonder whether the two participants in this fight are cursed. Jake Paul has a busted-up face and has been suspended indefinitely. The winner hasn’t escaped unscathed since the bout either.
Joshua himself narrowly escaped tragedy just weeks after his victory over Paul. While visiting family in his ancestral homeland of Nigeria last week, Joshua was a passenger in an SUV that crashed into a stationary truck on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The vehicle, reportedly speeding during an overtaking maneuver, possibly exacerbated by a tire burst, crashed, resulting in the deaths of two front-seat occupants. Joshua, seated in the back, sustained only minor injuries and was quickly rescued and hospitalized.
