Hulk Hogan, one of the most legendary characters in professional wrestling history, expressed some worry as to what Jake Paul might do to Mike Tyson in their upcoming bout.
Hogan, speaking on Logan Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast, said his brother’s last fight with Mike Perry proved the YouTuber-turned-professional fighter was “too strong”.
Paul defeated Perry with a 6th-round TKO in a fight scheduled on the original date of the Tyson matchup.
“As soon as I saw him set the guy [Perry] up with the left to throw the overhand right?” Hogan said. “I went ‘Oh my God, I mean really, it was scary. I love Mike to death, I don’t want him to kill Mike, Jesus.”
Hulk Hogan Is Worried About Mike Tyson
The battle between Jake Paul and “Iron” Mike Tyson is scheduled for Friday, November 15th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Originally set for July 20th, the fight was postponed due to Tyson experiencing health issues related to an ulcer flare-up.
Paul joked that Tyson was on a “menopause break”, but the incident made boxing fans take a second look at the 58-year-old boxing legend’s vulnerability.
Hulk Hogan continued to impress that Mike Tyson will be vulnerable in this fight.
“Mike is a snake. He will come out at you, but if you attack him you can suffocate him,” Hogan advised.
Despite the medical scare experienced by “Iron Mike” the Texas Licensing Regulators have no intention of monitoring his health leading up to the fight.
According to World Boxing News, Tyson will only be assessed the day before the fight, raising the specter that an issue could be discovered that day, and result in the fight being postponed yet again, or even canceled.

Hall Of Fame Boxing Broadcaster Al Bernstein Has Concerns Too
WWE legend Hulk Hogan isn’t the only person expressing concerns about seeing Mike Tyson get in the ring with Jake Paul.
Legendary broadcaster and boxing Hall of Famer Al Bernstein noted Tyson’s “advanced age” in taking on this fight against the 27-year-old Paul.
“In his high 50s, you worry about what could happen to Tyson in this fight, to be honest,” Bernstein said of the man once known as the “Baddest Man on the Planet”.
“I mean it’s hard to imagine him being effective in this, but I just hope everybody gets through it safely. That would be my only hope.”
