President Donald Trump made headlines Wednesday evening by predicting a bold political future for YouTuber-turned-professional boxer Jake Paul—and he offered his unequivocal support should the influencer step into the political ring in the future.
The surprise turn of events took place at a rally at Verst Logistics in Hebron, Kentucky. Trump welcomed the 29-year-old Ohio native and vocal supporter to the stage as a guest speaker.

“I’m going to make a prediction that you will be, in the not-too-distant future, running for political office,” the President told the crowd. “You have my complete and total endorsement.”

Trump praised Paul’s courage, brains, and star power, noting his “guts” and growing influence, including his popular local podcast.
“His local podcast is big stuff, and he’s big stuff,” Trump said. “This guy has guts.”
Paul, dressed in a tan suit, took the microphone to express gratitude and align himself firmly with the president’s message. He credited Trump with teaching him about courage. I mean, yeah, the guy literally dodged a bullet and stood tall.
“What Mr. Trump has taught me is courage. We never back down from a fight, even if they’re much bigger than you, much, much bigger than you,” Paul said. “I feel all the local Kentuckians feel the same way. You guys have that fight. You guys have that swag.”

The boxer has repeatedly praised the administration’s leadership, saying America is “healing slowly” under Trump’s guidance and emphasizing themes that echo his own transition from social media provocateur to heavyweight contender in boxing.
The two were later seen sharing a lighthearted moment, performing Trump’s signature dance in a TikTok video.
