Bill Belichick, now head coach at the University of North Carolina, and his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson have publicly addressed ongoing tensions with his ex-girlfriend, Linda Holliday, following an awkward encounter at a Nantucket fundraiser.

And it wasn’t exactly a cordial response.

Hudson, through an “insider” close to the couple, took a savage dig at Holliday, according to the Daily Mail.

“Bill and Jordon would love nothing more than for Linda to get over it,” the message reads. “Linda is Bill’s ex for a reason, he’s moved on, he’s looking forward to the upcoming UNC season, and he is madly in love with Jordon.”

The statement comes shortly after Hudson and Holliday attended the same fundraiser in Nantucket, Massachusetts, earlier this month, and following a tense altercation at a similar event back in December.

Bill Belichick’s Ex on the Warpath

Despite the current and former Bill Belichick flames crossing paths in Nantucket and seemingly avoiding an altercation – this time – Holliday, later reports revealed, was not thrilled.

An inside source told PEOPLE that Belichick’s ex was “furious” to have seen his new boo socializing.

“Linda was furious because she wants Jordon to be excluded,” the source said, responding to images from the event in which the Hudson, the former was spotted.

The two had a super-tense encounter at a Christmas party as well. Approximately two and a half hours into the party, Holliday contacted an event official to express her discomfort with Hudson’s presence.

“She asked that I remove Ms. Hudson from the premises,” an official stated on an incident report.

Holliday then confronted Belichick’s girlfriend and former Miss Massachusetts USA, Melissa Sapini, on the dance floor.

Holliday, who has ties to the pageant industry, threatened that if Sapini “valued her current title, she should think twice about who her friends are.”

Prior to that, Holliday was spotted at a Halloween party wearing a costume as “The Bride” from Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill films.

Time to Move On, Linda

The Bill Belichick-Jordan Hudson insider further noted that the couple simply wants to live their lives in love, despite the nearly half-century separating them in age. And Holliday needs to butt out.

“If Jordon happens to be in the same spots as Linda, that’s just life. Jordon isn’t looking to make a scene or have an incident happen,” the insider told the Daily Mail. “She is aware she isn’t well-liked in the public conversation when it comes to her relationship with Bill, but she isn’t looking to add to the drama with hearing it from Linda.”

“The quicker Linda moves on the better, in Bill and Jordon’s eyes,” they continued. “It’s time to shut it all down – avoiding any more distractions is the way to go.”

Ironic, when you consider Hudson had been nothing but a distraction for Belichick and the UNC program as he attempts to work his way back to the NFL by turning around a mediocre college football team.
