Is former President Donald Trump’s golf game getting better with age?

Video posted on TMZ shows the 78-year-old calmly teeing off on a par 3 over the weekend and declaring “Okay, get in the hole” as he walks away with the ball still mid-flight.

The crazy part of it is … It almost did!

“Oh my God,” Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr. exclaims. “It hit the pin! It hit the pin.”

As he often does, Trump spent more time bragging a bit about his game to the folks on the tee with him even though he never even watched the shot.

“In a match against my daughters and a couple great young local competitive golfers here my dad literally hit the pin,” Jr. captioned the video.

Trump’s Got Some Game When It Comes To Golf

Say what you will about Donald Trump in the political world, but on the golf course, he certainly has some chops.

Last month, he joined U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau for a charity golf event and there were plenty of highlights to discuss.

“Trump can play,” Bunkered wrote at the time.

“Trump was striping it off the tee … and despite playing best ball with a multiple major champ, made a solo birdie on nine and a solo eagle on 12,” they reported.

Though he exhibited a rather unique if not questionable putting style, Trump managed to nail a 12-foot putt to end their round, causing the two-time major champion to drop to the ground in excitement.

What Do The Pros Think?

Donald Trump’s golf game is quite impressive for his age.

Golf experts and players who have played with him, including Jack Nicklaus and DeChambeau, have praised his skills, with some comparing his game to top-level amateurs.

Nicklaus, the all-time major championship winner with 18, has previously said Trump “plays a little bit like I do.”

Tiger Woods played a round with Trump when he was 70 and was impressed at how far he could still drive the ball.

“What most impressed me was how far he hits the ball at 70 years old,” Woods, the 15-time major championship winner said. “He takes a pretty good lash.”

High praise from some of the all-time greats.
