The PGA Tour is at TPC River Highlands in Connecticut this weekend. While it is not a Major, the event did draw some of the biggest names on the circuit.

That includes Scottie Scheffler and Tom Kim taking part in a playoff.

But this is not close to the story.

Just Stop Oil protesters stormed the green as Scheffler was on 18 to close out the tournament. It was an entire scene.

We will say that was good form on the tackle by the police officer.

Here’s another angle of the situation that led to a delay late on Sunday.

Just Stop Oil Continues To Make Fools Of Themselves At PGA Tour Event

PGA: Travelers Championship - Third Round

It was just this past week that Just Stop Oil “protesters” decided it made sense to defame Stonehenge in the United Kingdom as a way to “further their cause.”

That’s certainly going to show big oil.

In a press release, the group had this to say.

“Twi people took action the day before Summer Solstice, demanding the incoming government sign up to a legally binding treaty to phase out fossil fuels by 2030,” Just Stop Oil on X.

Defaming a prehistoric structure that’s over 5,000 year old to protest big oil is certainly a tactic. Let’s see if it pays off.

As for the PGA Tour, it would have been awesome to see Scottie Scheffler tackle the fools.
