World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler has already moved on from the incident in Louisville during the PGA Championship last month.
Unless you have been hiding under a rock, you’ve certainly heard the story of Scheffler being arrested as he attempted to enter Valhalla Golf Club for Round 2 of the Major tournament last month. He allegedly ignored a road block from the Louisville Metropolitan Police Department.
What followed was insane. Scheffler allegedly drug LMPD officer Bryan Gillis several feet, causing multiple injuries and tearing his $80.00 pants. Yeah, that was actually in the police report.
Scheffler was ultimately arrested and booked into jail on charges of second-degree assault of a police officer, criminal mischief, reckless driving and disregarding signals from an officer directing traffic. These charges have since been dropped.
As Scheffler moves forward in his life, apparently the LMPD can’t move on.

Hilarious Photos Of “Injury” To Officer Caused By Scottie Scheffler
We’re really not sure why the LMPD wants to remain in the news. But they released photos of the “injuries” Gillis suffered in the incident. They also released a photo of the now-infamous pants. We’re not kidding.
Why? Come on, why?
Gillis’ knee is about as banged up as if you failed in your attempt on a Slip ‘N Slide. I’ve seen five-year old children brush themselves off and continue playing after suffering similar “injuries.”
Oh, and the $80 pants make an appearance in that photo. It’s still beyond belief that the original police report included that note.
As for Gillis, he just recently said that he’ll be able to recover from the horrific injuries.
“To be clear, I was drug by the car, I went to the ground, and I received visible injuries to my knees and wrist,” Gillis said late last month. “I’m going to recover from it, and it will be OK. This is the extent of my commentary on the incident.”
Good to know. We were certainly concerned.
