The Milwaukee Brewers clinched the National League Central Wednesday after the Chicago Cubs lost to the Oakland Athletics, giving the Brew Crew the title.

Following the clinch, the Brewers defeated the Philadelphia Phillies with a walk-off win, adding to the day’s excitement.

But things were about to get much more exciting, baseball fans!

The celebration was so wild that the legendary Bob Uecker, now in his 53rd season calling games for the club, got dragged into the proceedings.

What an incredible moment for the 90-year-old legend. He described the scene and level of excitement as only he can.

“I peed my pants,” Uecker said.

Bob Uecker Joins The Brewers Celebration

Not gonna lie, seeing a great moment for a true giant of sports and entertainment almost made me pee my pants a little bit. It’s just that good.

Uecker doesn’t just call baseball, he played MLB baseball, too. He even played two seasons in Milwaukee when they were known as the Braves. And of course, he has that broadcast experience with the Brewers.

But he truly excelled as a comedy genius, really, parlaying his mediocre playing career into self-deprecating humor that made him a star of endlessly amusing commercials for Miller Lite and a frequent guest of the late Johnny Carson.

As such, he was a natural fit to play announcer Harry Doyle in the classic sports movie Major League.

His one-liners became part of movie lore. The phrase “Juuuust a bit outside,” uttered by Doyle in describing a pitch about 5 feet off the plate, is still being used to this day by anybody who has ever played sports or tried to throw something and missed.

Admit it, you’ve heard it or said it yourself dozens of times.

Now, “I peed my pants” might become just as infamous.

The Humor Continues

That hilarious moment with Bob Uecker wasn’t the only funny the Milwaukee Brewers pulled off with their celebration.

It was highlighted by a creative twist where rookie sensation Jackson Chourio, who is 20 years old and not legally allowed to drink, was given non-alcoholic options in a baby carriage.

The Brew Crew have now won their fourth division title since 2018, but there’s still plenty to play for during the regular season.

They are also in contention for one of the top seeds in the NL and aiming for a playoff bye.
