MMA fans are sitting on the edge of their seats after hearing fan favorite retired-fighter Gina Carano respond as to whether or not she’d ever square up against former UFC Champion turned WWE star, Ronda Rousey.
Several weeks after Rousey said on the Kurt Angle Show that she’d love the opportunity to test her skills against her MMA role model, Gina Carano, the internet went abuzz with speculation as to whether or not we’d ever get a chance to see these former UFC legends step into the octagon to face each other.
During a recent interview with Fox News host Dan Bongino, the host posed the question as to whether Carano had given the potential matchup any serious thought.
“You know what? Just never put it past me. It could happen,” Carano responded.

“It would be six months from now because I have a lot of stuff I need to do,” Carano added, alluding to her independent work as well as collaborations with The Daily Wire, who produced her recent film “Terror on the Prairie.”
Carano’s passion and experience for acting and producing hasn’t gone anywhere, even though her public breakup with Disney caused immense emotional pain and career struggles. She seems more driven than ever since finding her place at the conservative news outlet headed by co-founders Jeremy Boreing and Ben Shapiro. Even if the two titans of the MMA world never trade blows, Carano seemed eager to find an opportunity to share some potential screen time with Rousey instead.
“I really want to create, I want to direct, I want to produce,” Carano said. “I want to give Ronda Rousey a job in one of my movies so maybe there is something we can do there.”
What do you think? Would you rather see Carano and Rousey settle who is the better fighter once and for all? Or see the two star together on the silver screen instead?
