Sean Strickland isn’t finished savaging everyone’s pet preferences – and he even broke the #1 rule by telegraphing his punches with a shirt that read, “A woman in every kitchen, a gun in every hand”.
Just Say No – To Women’s MMA
Strickland has been busy destroying the things certain types of Americans hold dear with his “Strickland 2024” platform.
First he called fellow fighter Ian Garry’s wife a succubus. Then, he correctly pointed out that today’s cultural zeitgeist has led to government “taking men’s nuts away”. (Side note: You are wrong if you think politics is downstream of culture. It is very very clearly the opposite.)
But then he went after our society’s top bugaboo: the notion that women and men are “equal” rather than very and obviously different. Watch:
Sorry Ladies
Here’s what Strickland said, and hold on to your butt (h/t to David Hookstead at OutKick for the transcription:
Here’s the thing guys. WNBA, let’s just be honest, I’m not gonna be offensive when I say this. WNBA, NBA. Who watches what? Who makes more money? Women’s MMA, sure, have women’s MMA. Have it a f*cking thing. I don’t like to watch it. I don’t think most people like to watch it. If the females in MMA were to separate from male MMA, no one is gonna watch this sh*t. No one wants to watch this sh*t. It is what it is, man. I don’t know what to f*cking tell you, dude. F*cking, it is what it is. Why is that a bad…Like, again, do you want to watch a f*cking sports car race a f*cking Honda Civic? No, you wanna watch a f*cking sports car.
There is a vast difference between men and women. Like, if you take this weak little f*cking Canadian sitting next to you. He could probably beat up f*cking Raquel Pennington. The fact of the matter is any one of you f*cks could probably beat our co-main event in a fight. And now, I’m not saying you can’t sit there and f*cking enjoy it, but I don’t wanna go see f*cking two little f*cking cats fight. I wanna see lions fight.
Man, just totally savaging that “weak little f*cking Canadian” is just about the funniest damn response to a sports reporter that has ever happened.
Is He Right?
Yes, and no. Most men would likely ignore the fights, just being honest. But men would absolutely still pay attention to some of the fighters.
I mean, come on. This woman was in MMA:
And so was this one:
Is it sexist? Yes. Is it the reality of how evolution has prepared men for the world they live in? Also yes. That’s basic evolutionary science.
That’s just the way it is – as Strickland would probably say.
