NASCAR fans couldn’t help but poke fun at driver Bubba Wallace after he posted an image from inside his garage featuring a heap of clutter and a Volkswagen Beetle.
Wallace, who signed an extension with Michael Jordan’s 23XI Racing this past September, decided to show off his workout area and boast about getting to work on the Peloton.
“It’s just 30 minutes…shut up and get to work 💪🏾👊🏾,” he captioned the image of his bike.
“And you best believe, I didn’t want to workout all day, knowing I needed to. I sat and looked at the bike for 10 minutes before even turning it on,” Wallace added. “Why is it that the moments leading up, suck?? Nice to outwork the mind tonight.”
But it wasn’t the Peloton fans were looking at. It was everything in the background.

Bubba Wallace Teased Over His Garage Setup
Hey, man, we get the setup for the new addition to the Bubba Wallace household. Little Becks Hayden was born in late September and is now five months old. Gotta keep the youngins close by during workouts.
But fans were curious why the controversial NASCAR star had to stuff himself into a garage crowded with boxes and a Punch Buggy.
“Ok, I love Bubba but why this guy look like he living in a rentable storage unit dawg,” one person wrote on X. “Bro got EVERYTHING in there, even a whole ass VW bug.”
Wallace, appreciating the joke, responded with a ‘dead’ emoji.

“How much for the couch?” another joked.
One fan wrote, “Dad mode engaged.”
You’ve gotta love it. For a guy who’s courted controversy for years, his new approach to social media and the new blessing of fatherhood are looking good on him.

Better Than His Last Garage Picture
You have to admit, Wallace’s latest garage image is undoubtedly better than the one somebody posted in 2020. You may recall Wallace was given heat that year when he adamantly promoted allegations that a “noose” had been placed in his garage.
While Wallace didn’t report the alleged hate crime himself, he certainly played up reports that he had been the victim of said hate crime.
The FBI investigated the incident and determined it was actually a garage door pulldown that had been there for over a year and that there was, in fact, no hate crime.
So yeah, we’ll take the Peloton and the VW Bug any day over that nonsense.
Last racing season, Wallace announced that his life had improved dramatically after taking a step back from social media and avoiding “toxic comments” from NASCAR fans.
“It’s been so nice,” Wallace told reporters back in August. “Just being caught up in other people’s lives, and just start comparing, like, ‘Man, I want…’ it’s just, aside from the toxic comments, social media is just a lot at times.”
Garage jokes are better than tall tales of racism any day.
