Jonathan Findley and Daniel Vuncannon got into a fist fight on pit road after Vuncannon wrecked them both during the Thanksgiving Classic at Southern National Motorsports Park on Sunday.

Coming off the turn and onto the straightaway Vuncannon drove his car up the track and right into Findley and into the wall.

Following the wreck, Findley was hot and justifiably so. He took out his frustration on Hickory Motor Speedway regular Charlie Watson smacking the top of his hood as he passed him by on the track.
As he made his way back down the pit road he confronted Vuncannon and some strong language went back and forth between the two. Vuncannon then threw the first shot to Findley’s jaw. Findley’s grandfather then attempts to intervene throwing a punch to Vuncannon’s face.

Vuncannon then faces off against the grandfather and throws a haymaker to the top of his head. After receiving the blow he appears to fall face down on the pavement. Findley then jumps in and pile drives Vuncannon to the asphalt. A couple of blows are exchanged on the ground before team members separate the two drivers.
After the two are separated Findley is escorted down the pit road back to his hauler.

JR Motorsports driver Josh Berry, who won the race last year, went on to claim victory and the $50,000 prize money. The win was his 100th for the organization.

He told Racing America just how special it was especially since he got to pilot the car with a throwback paint scheme to Dale Earnhardt Sr.’s 1998 Winston Cup All Star Race scheme.
Berry said, “We’ve done throwback races with LW (Miller) and the Mom N Pops paint scheme but I never thought I would race the 3. You know, that was Dale’s number and that was a personal thing with the family and I just didn’t know that I would even want to.”
“But with Johnny Morris and Bass Pro jumping on board this year, and with our Xfinity team a little next year too, and being asked to drive it, how could I not? And to take it to Victory Lane, it was really special,” he added.

As for Vuncannon and Findley, they finished 26th and 27th out of a 31 car field.
