Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla shared a heartwarming moment with his wife in the wee hours of the morning after coaching his team to an NBA Finals championship.
Video posted by Boston Herald reporter Andrew Callahan shows Mazzulla and his wife Camai walking through the confetti-filled parquet floor well after 3 AM.
As the couple strolls around the site of the Celtics record 18th Finals championship, the Boston head coach can be seen pointing to different areas of the arena and perhaps reliving certain memories.
Mazzulla led Boston to the NBA championship in just his second season as the head coach of the franchise, taking game five against the Dallas Mavericks Monday night, 106-88.
It’s 3:20 a.m. and Joe Mazzulla and his wife are holding hands, walking around the parquet. They’ve done a few laps already. Mazzulla is pointing to a few places around the arena.

Joe Mazzulla Soaks It All In With His Wife
What an incredible moment for the couple. Joe Mazzulla and his wife Camai have been married since 2014. They have a son named Emmanuel while Mazzulla also has a stepson named Michael.
Another Celtics reporter posted an incredible image of the two “walking hand in hand” around the court after the team had scaled the top of the NBA mountain.

“If you’re a bird, I’m a bird…,” she wrote, a line from the romantic movie, The Notebook.

‘Man Of God’
Bounding Into Sports covered Joe Mazzulla’s faith in a previous post, noting that fans have hailed him as a “man of God” who is not shy about being a Catholic.
That was on full display once again as he hoisted up the championship trophy on Monday.
Mazzulla wore a t-shirt which read: “But first… let me thank God.”
In previous comments, the Celtics head coach said he would celebrate a title by following the path of Jesus … literally.
“If we win the championship this year, we’re flying to Jerusalem and we’re walking from Jericho to Jerusalem,” Mazzulla said in an NBC Sports program in May.
