NBA star Kyrie Irving, known more for his dazzling court performances than his court battles, is now embroiled in a lawsuit over an unpaid bill from a health and wellness company.
Elite Mind Solutions, along with their prominent therapist Natasha McCartney, has filed a suit in New York alleging that Irving owes them nearly $400,000 for services rendered at a family retreat he organized earlier this year.
According to the lawsuit, Irving initially planned an intimate gathering with 50 to 60 attendees. However, the number swelled to 115 just days before the event was set to take place from June 28 to July 2.
When the event date actually arrived, the number of guests allegedly grew even further – to 150.
Despite the unexpected increase in guests, Elite Mind Solutions claims they fulfilled their obligations, providing a range of services, including meditation sessions, ionic foot baths, and intuitive life readings.

Kyrie Irving Lawsuit Details
Speaking of going above and beyond in providing services, the lawsuit against Kyrie Irving notes that somebody actually died during the retreat.
The situation took a somber turn when one of the participants tragically passed away, leading McCartney to provide crisis management and grief counseling services.
The financial dispute arises from Irving’s alleged failure to pay the invoices totaling $390,710 for these services.
The lawsuit details the extent of McCartney’s involvement, which included coordinating with local law enforcement and the coroner to manage the aftermath of the tragic event, all while ensuring Irving could avoid media scrutiny.
Irving’s retreat ended up with a dead body, and the wellness company contends they helped him keep it out of the press. It seems the eight-time NBA All-Star probably should have paid well above what was being asked for that kind of service.
Irving has made over $311 million during his NBA career.
