Stephen A. Smith continued discussing his confrontation with Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James when he appeared for an interview with Fox News personality Sean Hannity.

Hannity goaded him a bit, but fans still noticed that Smith is seemingly embarked on a “press tour” over the incident.

“By the way, what was up with LeBron?” Hannity asked. “He was getting in your grill. What was that?”

“He thought that I was insulting his son when, in fact, that’s not what I was doing,” Smith explained.

A disgusted Hannity addressed James, “Grow up.”

“I was getting on him because he had gone through so many things to, you know, have his son in the NBA,” Smith continued. “He was bringing unnecessary attention on his son. Prematurely, in my estimation. He didn’t like that, so he confronted me. It’s his prerogative. He didn’t put his hands on me. That’s all that matters.”

The ESPN analyst said he’d continue to do his job regardless of James’ attempt at intimidation, while Hannity said, “I would’ve had your back.”

Stephen A. Smith Ripped LeBron James As ‘Weak’

Stephen A. Smith has provided an endless stream of commentary regarding the LeBron James confrontation. Frankly, he has a right to hammer him repeatedly.

James got into a heated conversation with Smith in a brazen attempt to intimidate the ESPN analyst into favorable coverage of himself and his son, Bronny.

Apparently, LeBron thinks his son is not subject to criticism because it’s his son.

Smith, in an appearance on “Gil’s Arena,” referred to the on-court showdown as “bulls—” and slammed James as “weak” over his actions.

James is weak. He forced the Lakers to waste a second-round draft pick on his son when he couldn’t even play college basketball at a high level , and doesn’t anyone can criticize that? Get real, Chief.

He Can Do Whatever He Wants

Smith has repeatedly pointed out that, as an NBA analyst, it would be impossible for him not to note that LeBron James’ son Bronny can’t shoot a basketball to save his life.

“He can feel whatever way he wants to feel. I’m gonna do my job. I cover the sport,” he told Hannity. “That’s what I’m gonna do.”

Covering the sport requires pointing out that Bronny averages 1.4 points per game and shoots just 25% from the floor. Angel Reese thinks that’s bad shooting.

The NBA needs to fine LeBron James for intimidating a media member. A lesser player would have already been punished.

Maybe then, Stephen A. will finally stop talking about it.
