According to The Christian Post, Pearsall was shot during an armed robbery attempt in San Francisco. Miraculously, the bullet missed his vital organs, exiting out his back, and he was released from the hospital just one day after the incident.

Pearsall’s mother, Erin, took to Facebook to express her immense gratitude, stating, “First and far most I want to thank GOD for protecting my baby boy. He is extremely lucky, GOD shielded him.”

She continued to ask for prayers for her son as he begins the recovery process.

The suspect in the robbery, identified as a juvenile, has been charged with multiple serious crimes, including attempted murder, according to San Francisco’s District Attorney Brooke Jenkins.

The 49ers acknowledged the quick response from local law enforcement and medical personnel in treating Pearsall, and General Manager John Lynch referred to the incident as “nothing short of miraculous.”

Though Pearsall will start the NFL season on the non-football injury list, sidelined for at least four games, his outlook remains positive.

A man of faith, Pearsall had previously thanked his “lord and savior Jesus Christ” on social media for his blessings, and this latest ordeal only reinforces the family’s strong faith. For now, the team and fans are just thankful for his recovery.
