By now, you’ve likely heard that Bill Belichick won’t be coaching the New England Patriots this season. In fact, for the first time since 1974, Belichick won’t even be in the NFL.
Football fans will still get to see Belichick featured on ESPN’s Manningcast each week during Monday Night Football. That alone should be must-see TV, as Belichick joins forces with two quarterbacks he once game-planned against, including Eli Manning, who foiled the Patriots’ attempt at a perfect season in 2007.
While we’re eager to see what Coach Belichick’s NFL analysis brings to live television later this fall, the future Hall-of-Famer has been getting busy in other ways this summer.
According to TMZ Sports, the 72-year-old coach is now dating 24-year-old former cheerleader Jordan Hudson. The source adds that the two have “been romantic for a while now.” Here’s Hudson’s Instagram page since we know you’re curious.
TMZ reports the duo first met on a flight back from Boston back in 2021 and quickly vibed over the philosophy project she had been working on as a student-athlete at the time. They reportedly exchanged numbers and remained friendly ever since. Some sources even suggest the two may have been an item as soon as 2022, with Hudson being seen at multiple Patriots games.
Belichick has since shown his support by attending her cheerleading competition during the week of the NFL Scouting Combine and even traveling with her to Croatia at one point. More recently, she and Bill attended Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction
To no surprise, Belichick and Hudson have yet to publicly comment or address their alleged relationship. That’s incredible; he’s already taught her the ‘Patriot Way’ of keeping lips sealed when paparazzi come around.
It’s good to know Belichick’s having a good time during his time away from the NFL. Who knows, he might even feel encouraged enough to file those retirement papers instead of holding out hope to return in 2025.
