It seems that not only is Josh Allen one of the best quarterbacks in football, but the Buffalo Bills star was once on a path to being one of the nation’s best farmers.
After being the seventh overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, Josh Allen has helped to bring the Bills back to relevancy. In his first six years in the league, Buffalo has had a winning record in all but one of those seasons. And he has led Buffalo to an AFC East title the last five years.

There is little doubt that he is one of the most impactful players in the NFL right now. However, it seems the former Wyoming standout has another hidden talent: Farming. On Friday, ESPN brought attention to Allen’s long history with the Future Farmers of America (FFA). If you’re curious about what the FFA is then he is a short summation of the organization:
“FFA is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.”
The Firebaugh, California native learned his farming skills at an early age by helping his father on the family farm. Before joining the local chapter of the FFA. The Buffalo QB was a member of the FFA while in high school. And earned several awards for his agricultural work. He was even a finalist in diversified crop production and earned his FFA degree in 2015.
It would not be a surprise when Josh Allen eventually ended his NFL career he returned to his farming roots.
