On Tuesday, football star brothers Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce landed one of the biggest podcast deals of all time for former professional athletes.
While quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the most well-known player on the Kansas City Chiefs roster, Travis Kelce has hit a nearly equal level of popularity. Not only is he one of the best tight ends in NFL history, but he is a lovable character who also happens to be dating the biggest music artist in the world, Taylor Swift.

His older brother Jason Kelce has also cultivated a solid fanbase due to his fun-loving personality. Two years ago the Kelce bros. decided to combine their fame and created the “New Heights” podcast. The show has quickly become hugely popular and recently was at the center of negotiations for rights to distribute the podcast.
Well, the talks are over, and Amazon’s Wondery has the exclusive rights to the show. The deal between Jason and Travis Kelce and Wondery is reportedly worth $100 million over three years.

“’New Heights’ will continue to be available widely on all podcast services, including Wondery’s various distribution channels and on YouTube,” Variety reported on Tuesday. “The deal also includes ad-free listening for Wondery+ subscribers, livestreams, and rights to develop, manufacture, license, and distribute all merchandise based on ‘New Heights,’ including new consumer products.”
The deal is only trumped by the $250 million multiyear deal Joe Rogan signed with Spotify in 2022 and Alex Cooper’s pact worth up to $125 million with SiriusXM. The contract, which probably sees them split the money evenly, means in three years they will earn more than half of what they have during long careers in the NFL.
During 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, Jason Kelce banked just shy of $82 million. His brother Travis has earned over $76 million in 11 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.
