Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie, were attempting to enjoy date night in New Jersey this past holiday weekend.
That’s when the proverbial crap hit the fan. The Kelces were approached by a woman outside Steve & Cookie’s Restaurant and Oyster Bar in Margate City, New Jersey.
A heated exchange followed with Kylie and the woman exchanging words.
“You’ll never be allowed in this town again,” the woman said.
“I can smell the alcohol on your breath, you’re embarrassing yourself,” she said.
The situation was caught on video.
Those on the scene in Jersey indicated that the “woman was rude as hell and banging on their car door.” Others noted that she approached the Kelces while they were still in their car.
We now have a bit more on this story. It’s seemingly turning out swimmingly.

Jason Kelce, Kylie Kelce Offered Redo Of Date Night By New Jersey Mayor
Fox News has been all over this story. The website shared a post from Margate City Mayor Michael Collins in which he apoligized for the incident. Mr. Collins also offered to pay for their next date night in the town.
“On behalf of the City of Margate, I’d like to formally apologize to Jason & Kylie Kelce for the experience they had in Margate City over the holiday weekend,” Collins wrote. “As a father with young children, I know as well as anyone the importance of a date night with your wife and would like to offer a redo date night with dinner on me.”
The Kelces have obviously been in the news a whole lot.
Jason Kelce’s brother, Travis, is dating music sensation Taylor Swift. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is also coming off a second consecutive Super Bowl title.
As for the Kelce in question here, Jason retired from the NFL after the 2023 season. He had spent his entire 13-year career with the Philadelphia Eagles. Kelce is considered one of the greatest centers to ever suit up.
No word yet on whether the Kelces plan on taking the mayor up on his offer. What we do know is that the two have frequented Margate City a whole lot since they first tied the knot back in 2018.
