It seems like everybody in sports and entertainment these days has an opinion on the Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift whirlwind romance. You can count Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh among them.
You wouldn’t expect a grizzled NFL coach to give a rip about what is going on with the love life of an opposing player, but Harbaugh offered a rather amusing take.
See, he’d like to see Kelce and Swift tie the knot. The sooner the better. As for kids, Harbaugh is effectively telling the Kansas City Chiefs tight end to go forth and multiply.
Why? Because it might get him to retire sooner.
“I hope they get married,” Harbaugh told Us Weekly. “I hope they have a bunch of kids. Heck, maybe he’ll get ready to retire here pretty soon to pursue that family aspect of his life.”
“I would encourage that.”

Harbaugh Wants To See Travis Kelce And Taylor Swift Get Married
While it’s clear Harbaugh is joking about pushing for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce to swiftly get married and send one of the top tight ends in the game to an early retirement, you might forgive him if there’s an element of seriousness there.
Despite being 4.5-point favorites in last year’s AFC Championship game, the Ravens lost to the Chiefs 17-10. And they had no answer for Kelce.
He contributed 11 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown.
In fact, since Kelce entered the league the Chiefs are 4-1 against Baltimore (5-1 if you include the playoff loss). Here are Kelce’s combined stats for those games: 44 receptions for 551 yards and 3 touchdowns.
If Harbaugh is losing sleep over this guy, now you know why.

Is He A Swiftie?
John Harbaugh also admitted in the interview to being versed in Taylor Swist’s discography by his daughter and being enamored with the pop star’s talent.
“I couldn’t say I’m a Taylor Swift fan because I don’t know enough of the songs,” Harbaugh said in the interview. “But the songs I’ve heard from my daughter over the years, I like ‘em. I think they’re excellent.”
“I think she’s so talented. When you watch her perform, oh my god, it’s sick how talented she is.”
On a more serious note, the Ravens head coach said he is “rooting for them (Swift and Kelce)” and described their high-profile romance as “the coolest thing ever.”
As for marriage? Kelce might not be ready.
Bounding Into Sports also reported on sources who say the three-time Super Bowl champion isn’t ready to tie the knot. In fact, it’s not even a thought at this stage.
“Travis has no plans on proposing to Taylor anytime soon,” one source revealed. “It’s not even on his radar.”
“Marriage is something he takes very seriously and not something he would ever just jump into without giving it some careful consideration.”
Meanwhile, Harbaugh might offer his services as a wedding planner. Perhaps he’ll register to become a justice of the peace, or he’ll get their registry together if it’ll help move things along a little faster.
