The two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs are hosting the Baltimore Ravens to kick off this new season of NFL football on Thursday night.

It’s been months since Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs knocked off the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII. But it seems like a lot longer.

Kelce spent his offseason hanging out with the tight end’s better half, Taylor Swift. Mahomes was also seen doing his thing as the Chiefs celebrated yet another title.

As for Baltimore, it was an offseason filled with business more than anything else. Reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson and Co. fell to Kansas City in the AFC Championship Game last season. It was a bitter end for the purple and black.

Regardless of how these two teams spent their offseasons, they have one thing in common. The players headed into Arrowhead in Kansas City in style.

It’s become something of a niche trend around the sports world. Athletes entering venues like they’re walking the red carpet. Thursday evening in Kansas City was no different.

Here are some of the best.

Travis Kelce’s handlebar mustache decided to bring the Chiefs tight end with him.

The dude should just grow out a mullet and take this look 100%. We’re sure Taylor Swift would approve.

Reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson popped in holding a Louis Vuitton bag with a matching checkered jacket.

Andy Reid being typical Andy Reid. It got us thinking, too.

Newly extended Chiefs center Creed Humphrey was sporting some jokes on his shirt as he made his way into Arrowhead Stadium.

“This is my shirt for the Ravens game.” Deadpan humor at its best.

Chiefs rookie first-round pick Xavier Worthy didn’t dress down ahead of his regular-season debut.

Ravens All-Pro linebacker Roquan Smith decided to pull out the Prince vibes. He did it well.

Yes, Taylor Swift has also landed in Kansas City. We know that’s what you all were waiting for.
