Harrison Butker and Taylor Swift might want to avoid talking about politics the next time they see each other. The controversial Kansas City Chiefs kicker revealed on Fox News that he is endorsing Donald Trump.
“I’m supporting the president that’s going to be the most pro-life president,” Butker told Fox News host Laura Ingraham. Trump appointed three Supreme Court justices that overturned abortion protections in Roe v. Wade.

Butker says Trump is the best due to his “pro life record” – at a Senator Josh Hawley event.
“I want us to be fighting for the most vulnerable, fighting for the unborn.”

Butker, who was with Sen. Josh Hawley, Republican senator from Missouri, said that blocking abortion is the most crucial topic for him this election season.
“I want us to be fighting for the most vulnerable, fighting for the unborn and that’s what we should prioritize. That’s, obviously, what Senator Hawley is doing as a man of faith,” said Butker.
“You have to vote for whoever is going to be the most pro-life, and we have to be prayerful men to put God first, and I think that’s what will be best for our country.”

Butker caused quite a stir in the offseason for comments he made while giving the commencement address at Benedictine College in Kansas. He was accused of making sexist and homophobic remarks.
“Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world. I can tell you that my beautiful wife Isabelle would be the first to say that her life truly started when she started living her vocation as a wife and as a mother,” Butker said in May, adding that homemaker is “one of the most important titles of all.”
Butker also referred to Pride Month as a “deadly sin sort of pride that has a month dedicated to it.”
Butker is one of the best kickers in the game today, hitting field goals of 60 yards or longer twice. He’s also been a part of three Super Bowl-winning teams in his seven seasons.
