A young Philadelphia Eagles fan named Sam Salvo has become an overnight internet sensation after delivering a brutally honest post-game interview following his team’s 23-19 wild-card playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

The interview, captured by 6ABC reporter Briana Smith outside Lincoln Financial Field, quickly amassed over 18 million views across social media platforms. Salvo, who received tickets to the game as a Christmas present, expressed deep disappointment in his Eagles.

“This was my Christmas present, and I got a loss,” he lamented.

That’s when he really unloaded. First in his line of sight? Wide receiver AJ Brown, who had three catches for just 25 yards. He was targeted seven times.

“I want AJ Brown packing his bags, and I want him somewhere else that is not here,” the young man fumed. “I love you, AJ, but like you can’t make those drops in that game.”

Young Eagles Fan Wants Coach Flipping Burgers

The young Eagles fan saved his sharpest criticism for offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo, whom he suggested should be spending his future “flipping burgers.”

What an absolute legend.

“I also want Kevin Patullo flipping burgers at the local McDonald’s or something, I don’t care,” Salvo added. “Whenever he’s an offensive coordinator, it’s like he’s flipping burgers. One half he’s cooking, and the other half is completely raw.”

Kid’s got a point.

The Eagles have been plagued by an underwhelming offensive performance this season, ranking 17th in DVOA and 24th in rushing despite talents like Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley.

Another Hilarious Fan Moment

The Eagles, coming off a Super Bowl victory in 2025, saw their repeat hopes dashed in a stunning upset by the underdog 49ers, intensifying scrutiny on Patullo, who replaced Kellen Moore and now faces likely dismissal.

The young Eagles fan and his viral “flipping burgers” analysis have captured hearts nationwide with his passionate, articulate takedown, turning him into a legendary figure who perfectly embodies Philly’s no-nonsense spirit.

Salvo’s comments were reminiscent of another young fan, a Las Vegas Raiders fan, who had hilariously low expectations before this past season started.

“You’re so into the NFL,” a reporter said to the fan. “You know your Raiders. I can tell right here. How are you feeling with the team this year?”

The young man wasn’t feeling it, apparently.

“We’re not going to the Super Bowl,” he replied. “I already know it. I already know it.”

“But what is it going to take for the Raiders to have a successful season, do you think?” the reporter pressed.

The young fella didn’t mention a solid run game, quarterback play, or speed on the corners. No, this Raiders fan’s expectations are much, much lower.

“Not to get arrested,” he fired back.

Suffice it to say, he was pretty prescient. The Raiders didn’t make it to the Super Bowl. They were super-close, however, posting a 3-14 record.
