A popular Netflix sports series will delve into some major concerns surrounding the investigation into the shocking death of Tennessee Titans great Steve McNair.
Quarterback Steve McNair is one of the most beloved players in the short history of the Titans franchise. The three-time Pro Bowler is one of the best to ever play the position for the team and is the only one to lead them to a Super Bowl appearance.

That is why his stunning death in 2009 hit many football fans in Tennessee hard. On July 4 of that year, the 36-year-old was found dead in his downtown Nashville apartment. Along with the body of his then-girlfriend Sahel “Jenni” Kazemi. Police believe the 2003 NFL MVP and the 20-year-old Dave and Busters employee were having troubles in their relationship and it led to her shocking decision to murder McNair and then commit suicide.
The weapon used in the stunning event was found underneath Kazemi and gunpowder was on her hand. However, a new episode of the Netflix series “Untold” offers some questions about how that investigation was handled.
“I think once people start to see the gaps, the holes, and the things that don’t make sense in this case, anybody with common sense is gonna say, ‘Wait a minute guys, like, you screwed up,’” Vincent Hill, a private investigator who wrote a book on the police’s narrative of the murder claims in the episode.

The investigator believes Nashville Police made many mistakes along the way. Including overlooking inconsistencies in the story of Adrian Gilliam. He sold the murder weapon to Kazemi but claimed he barely knew her. However, the pair were well acquainted and shared over 200 phone calls in the lead-up to that fateful night in July 2009.
There are also some questions about Steve McNair’s former friend Robert Gaddy. He and a confidant discovered the bodies and called 911. However, he also allegedly had a falling out with McNair due to a $13,000 debt. Hill claims Gaddy being a potential suspect was not thoroughly researched by police.
Even the quarterback’s former head coach, Steve Fisher revealed some doubts about the final results from police.
“I can make a case that things don’t add up … I don’t want to speculate. Just let it go. Let it go,” Fisher says in the documentary.
