Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany, having safely put the AFC Championship game in the rearview mirror, took a moment to lob a dig at Buffalo Bills fans.
The fairer Mahomes posted an image on Instagram of Bills fans mocking her husband with a Kermit the Frog doll wearing a Mahomes jersey and a wig hanging from a pole.
Some have suggested the Kermit dig is a swipe at Mahomes’ speaking voice, while others contend using a rope to tie the frog to a pole resembles a noose. When hanging a piñata, do we refer to the rope as a noose? Or nah?
Either way, leave it to the Bills Mafia to hang an opponent in effigy.
Regardless, the image is actually from Week 11, when the Bills beat the Chiefs 30-21 – not from the AFC Championship. Brittany and her Kansas City Chiefs quarterback husband both got the last laugh in that one.
“Do we remember this Buffalo? Absolutely disgusting…” she wrote. “So as you go home tonight, I pray we become better people.”

Brittany Mahomes Rips Bills Fans
Listen, Brittany Mahomes has every right to rub some salt in the wounds. Her husband’s Chiefs are headed to the Super Bowl. (Thanks in large part to the officiating, but they cashed their ticket nevertheless.)
But lecturing the entire city of Buffalo about prayer to “become better people”? Come on, man.
This was a fan with a Kermit doll. Or, at most, a handful of fans. Just ask the biggest Chiefs fan over the past decade, Xaviar Babudar, how anything is possible with one person. You know him as “ChiefsAholic.”
Babudar was very recently sentenced to 17.5 years in federal prison. The sentence was handed down for his involvement in a series of 11 armed bank robberies or attempted robberies across seven states, where he allegedly stole over $800,000.
Oh, did you already forget, like I did, that the ChiefsAholic is the most “successful” bank robber since Machine Gun Kelly? We must live in interesting times.
Amazingly, he even used the money in part to attend Chiefs games. Maybe send a prayer to him, Brittany, about becoming a better person. The point is the entire fanbase of the franchise isn’t emblematic of a pair of ethically challenged fans.

Ironically, it was a game against the Bills last year that the Chiefs were on the receiving end of a controversial call. They’ve been the beneficiary of those calls ever since.
The Bills beat the Chiefs 20-17 last season following an offsides penalty call late in the game that negated a pass from Mahomes to Travis Kelce, which was then lateraled across the field to Kadarius Toney for a 49-yard touchdown.
Toney had clearly lined up offsides. But that didn’t stop Mahomes from whining about the call.

From that point on, the Chiefs have had to repeatedly explain themselves due to the refs seemingly giving them favorable calls. They don’t whine very often these days.
Brittany Mahomes, for her part, is putting in work for Chiefs Nation – she was named a 2024 SI Swimsuit edition rookie.
Mrs. Mahomes is a former professional soccer player and co-owner of the Kansas City Current, a professional women’s soccer team. She is also a fitness entrepreneur.
