Former NFL quarterback Cam Newton stunned viewers on the reality TV show Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test by reminding them that he is indeed one of the most exceptional athletes on the planet.
He pulled off that feat by… jumping from a moving speedboat onto a helicopter that was hovering alongside!
This daring stunt was part of a challenge where contestants had to leap from a boat to grab hold of a helicopter’s skid.
Newton went into beast mode for the effort. He managed to pull himself up into the helicopter with apparent ease, astonishing his 15 fellow contestants.
“Did you see that Heli swing?” former Motocross champion Carey Hart, a fellow contestant on the show, marveled.
Newton himself was stoked, shouting in excitement as he settled into the helicopter before a military officer running the competition demanded he settle down.

Cam Newton Dazzles On Special Forces
Cam Newton’s feat on Special Forces was met with gasps and awe from his castmates. The social media reaction shows viewers of the show were equally impressed.
“Should Cam lowkey become an action movie star?” one fan asked.
Yeah, probably, with those moves.
“I feel like Cam Newton is underappreciated as one of the best athletes of our generation,” another added. “An absolute freak of nature.”
“Cam Newton easily coulda been one of the greatest international spies but he chose to play in the NFL,” a fan joked.
They’re right, of course. He is a freak of nature. Newton, who played predominantly for the Carolina Panthers, led them to three NFC South titles, four playoff appearances, their second-ever Super Bowl appearance, and was the first black quarterback to outright win NFL MVP in one of the best seasons ever played by a quarterback.
He was a three-time Pro Bowler in the NFL and won the Heisman Trophy in 2010, the year he led Auburn to the BCS National Championship.
Underappreciated
Cam Newton recently ripped the Panthers organization for allegedly trying to erase his legacy with the team. According to him and his son, Carolina doesn’t have any pictures of him on the stadium walls.
This, despite Newton arguably being the young franchise’s most outstanding player so far.
“We went into the Panthers’ facility and . . . you mean to tell me that one of the greatest Panthers to ever play ain’t up nowhere? Nowhere. I’m talkin’ nowhere,” said Newton. “Who brought it to my attention? My son. So as a man, when you have to explain to your son . . . ‘Daddy, where’s your picture?’”
The real reason why the @Panthers are avoiding Cam Newton's legacy…

After a tour guide suggested he’d find some pictures on the second floor, Newton discovered that wasn’t the case.
“I seen Jake Delhomme. I seen Thomas Davis. I seen Luke Kuechly. I seen Julius Peppers. I seen Steve Smith.”
After this stunt, he should probably be honored on the Special Forces wall of fame at the very least.
