The former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce is preparing to welcome his fourth child with his wife Kylie. They are already the parents of three young daughters.
While appearing on The Steam Room podcast, Jason admitted that he and Kylie have talked about him taking a drastic measure to ensure that this baby will be their last. Indeed, Jason is considering going under the knife and getting a vasectomy.
Jason Weighs Major Decision
When asked if he wants to keep having children until he finally has a son, Jason replied, “I mean, listen, that’s not up to me, that’s not my decision … but I think Kylie is about coming to the end of wanting to pop these things.”
Interesting, if gross, turn of phrase.
Jason went on to say that this pregnancy “has been a long one for her.” In fact, it’s been so difficult that they have been discussing the “V-word,” meaning a vasectomy.
“We’ll see. This one might be it,” Jason admitted. “We’ve talked about the V-word, we brought it up. I don’t know if it’s going to happen or not, but we’ll see.”
“I don’t think it’s necessarily if we want to have a boy because, at the end of the day, we’re not shooting with good percentages,” he continued. “We’ve got to give up on that idea.”

Jason And Kylie Announce Fourth Pregnancy
Jason and Kylie, 32, announced back in November that they are expecting their fourth child. At the time, they confirmed that the baby is another girl. They are already parents to daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, who turned 2 on Sunday.
Earlier this month, while appearing on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kylie revealed that the “craziest rumor” she’d heard lately about herself is that she and Jason “tried for a boy.” When asked why she believes fans would spread this rumor, Kylie replied, “because they really want us to have a boy.”
Though there’s no truth to this rumor, Kylie admitted to wanting this fourth baby to be a boy at first.
“There was this moment when we found out we were having our fourth girl where I was like, ‘We’ve always said we wanted four kids, maybe I won’t get to meet a little Jason,’ which was a little bit weird,” she confessed.
Even so, Kylie was quick to add, “Four girls is better than four boys. When I meet boy moms, I’m like, ‘God bless you.’ Even my mother-in-law. My mother-in-law has told me horror stories.”
This was a reference to Donna Kelce, who is the mother of Jason and his younger brother Travis, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.

‘We’ll Figure It Out’
In July of last year, Jason opened up about the possibility of having a fourth child.
“It’s not my decision,” Jason told People Magazine at the time. “We’ve talked about, before having kids, having certain numbers but I think whatever Kylie’s comfortable with.”
“We’ll figure it out,” he added.
Only time will tell if Jason decides to get a vasectomy to make sure that this fourth baby is his last. Regardless of what he decides to do, we wish Kylie the best of luck with the rest of this pregnancy!
