Giants Coach Inspires National Pride Ahead of Historic Milestone
John Harbaugh has taken the helm as head coach of the New York Giants following his abrupt firing from the Baltimore Ravens after a playoff-eliminating loss in Week 18.
The move came swiftly after President Donald Trump publicly endorsed Harbaugh on Truth Social, urging the Giants to hire him without delay. They listened, apparently.
Speaking from the team’s practice facility in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Harbaugh expressed enthusiasm not only for his new role, but for some other things. Mainly love of country.
“I think people should keep in mind that this is the greatest country, this is the greatest experiment in governing and the greatest experiment in society building that’s ever been attempted in the history of the world,” said Harbaugh in an interview with Fox News.
“What this is about was never even comprehended until 1776 when the founding fathers came up with this idea.”

Harbaugh also said he can’t wait to hear the national anthem for the first time as the Giants coach, indicating he’ll “be proud standing out there.”
Maybe some of our Olympic athletes could take a few notes here.
Reflecting on his encounters with three U.S. presidents—Ronald Reagan, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump—Harbaugh described himself as “blessed” to live in a country where such opportunities exist.

The coach’s comments come amid his transition to the Giants, sparked by Trump’s unexpected social media push.
“The New York Football Giants should hire, without question, John Harbaugh – And John, a great guy, should TAKE THE JOB!!!” President Trump wrote on his Truth Social account.
When asked by a Fox News reporter about the presidential endorsement shortly thereafter, Harbaugh responded with enthusiasm and a big ol’ smile on his face.
“It feels really great,” a beaming Harbaugh said. “I also noticed on that post he said, ‘And John, take the job!’ So, I thought John Mara might have had something to do with that. I don’t know. But, it’s cool.”
Harbaugh spent 18 successful seasons leading the Baltimore Ravens, guiding the team to 12 playoff appearances and a Super Bowl victory in 2012, before being released.
