During the NFC Divisional Playoff game between the Rams and Eagles on Sunday, NBC play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico somehow predicted the future. All it took was two words, and magic followed.

It may be time for fellow clairvoyant (actually, just very high football IQ guy) Tony Romo to start looking over his shoulder in the predictions department!

Tirico’s Touchdown Call

With less than five minutes to go in the fourth quarter, Tirico had one simple question: “Barkley time?” At the time, Philadelphia led 22-15.

And then it was indeed Barkley Time. In an instant, the Eagles running back delivered the biggest play of the game.

The call of the touchdown run by Tirico was epic and adds to his hall of fame resumé. The list of great calls is just too many to mention, but this one gets added. Check it out below.

Eat your heart out, Romo!

On the afternoon, Barkley had a field day to go with his hall of fame regular season. The newly-minted Eagle ran for 205 yards and two touchdowns. The two touchdown runs were for 62 and 78 yards respectively.

The Eagles would beat the Rams 29-22 and are facing the Washington Commanders next Sunday in the NFC Championship game.

Unfortunately for folks into betting or Remote Viewing: neither Mike Tirico or Tony Romo will be back on duty Sunday. Fox hosts the NFC game, and CBS hosts the AFC game.
