Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are arguably the most famous couple in the world right now. Over the past year, Swift has become a staple on the sidelines of Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs games.

Given their immense fame, fans may think that Swift and Kelce get preferential treatment from the Chiefs. That’s why it’ll likely come as a surprise to many to learn that Swift and Kelce are banned from spending the night together before his games.

Kelce Can’t Spend The Night With Swift Before Games

Indeed, this is a team policy that all Chiefs players, including Kelce, must adhere to when it comes to their significant others.

“One of the rules for Chiefs players to follow is to be away from their significant others the night before a road game,” Daily Mail reported. “Many NFL WAGs [wives and girlfriends] can arrange for their own travel, with them being able to see their partners during certain times on a road trip.”

The night before a game, all Chiefs players must be in their hotel rooms by 11pm. When this curfew hits, they can’t have anyone else around them besides their fellow teammates.

More Rules For Chiefs Players

The Chiefs also have a rule stating that all members of the team must travel together on the team flight to and from games. This means that all of their wives and girlfriends, including Swift, much arrange their own travel plans.

When it comes to traveling for games, Kelce and his fellow teammates are under close watch from their coaches. The players are meant to treat their games as business trips. This leaves Chiefs players with little time to spend with their wives and girlfriends.

Another rule dictates that Chiefs players are not allowed to consume alcohol the night before their games. The players’ wives and girlfriends are free to partake in drinking, just not with their husbands or boyfriends.

Swift Is ‘Leaning On’ Kelce Amidst Emotional Struggles

This comes amidst reports that Swift is “leaning on” Kelce more than ever. After two years and 149 shows, Swift is preparing to end her Eras Tour. Indeed, her final performance is scheduled for December 8 in Vancouver, Canada. This has been the highest-grossing concert tour of all time, earning over $1 billion.

Sources close to Swift have claimed that the singer is struggling to figure out what will be next for her.

“This tour has been her life and the people on the tour have been her family and as it draws to a close, she has been super emotional – leaning on Travis and her family more than ever,” a source told Daily Mail.

“She is such a busy body,” the insider continued. “She knows she must just take some time to enjoy her successes, but she really doesn’t know what to do to fill her time aside from writing songs. Taylor cannot be bored and doesn’t really know what she is going to do with her time.”

Now that Swift will have more time on her hands, the Chiefs’ strict rules when it comes to Kelce and his fellow players may become more annoying to her than ever before. However, we respect the Chiefs for enforcing the same rules with all their players, including an A-lister like Kelce!
