Taylor Swift fans, better known as ‘Swifties,’ tried to escalate a feud between Travis Kelce and the Eagles’ C.J. Gardner-Johnson by going after the defensive back’s mother. But they only ended up embarrassing themselves.
The tension between Gardner-Johnson and the Chiefs tight end began on the field as the two got into a bit of an altercation early on in Super Bowl LIX.
The DB delivered a bit of an off-the-ball shot over the middle of the field, prompting Kelce to charge toward him before seemingly changing his mind. Gardner-Johnson hilariously stood his ground, and Kelce would eventually start jawing with other Philly players.

Following the game, in which the Eagles absolutely pummeled the Chiefs 40-22, Gardner-Johnson made the feud personal, posting on social media that Kelce should have stuck with his ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole.

As anybody knows, you don’t mess with the Swifties. They are brutal and relentless, and they really don’t like it when you poke fun at Tay Tay.
As such, they banded together to … harass Gardner-Johnson’s mother, Delatron Johnson. Hey, turnabout’s fair play!
Taylor’s army started leaving a myriad of negative reviews on Johnson’s restaurant, King’s Grill in Rockledge, Florida, according to TMZ.
Yelp actually had to put a warning on the King’s Grill page, noting that it “is being monitored by Yelp’s Support team for content related to media reports.”
“While we don’t take a stand one way or the other when it comes to this incident, we’ve temporarily disabled the posting of content to this page as we work to investigate whether the content you see here reflects actual consumer experiences rather than the recent events,” Yelp explained.

Mom Gets The Last Laugh
Here’s the best part of this story – C.J. Gardner-Johnson’s Mom is getting the last laugh with Taylor Swift fans. Why? Because they’re wasting their time putting up those negative reviews.
“I have friends who were sending me the screenshots,” Mama Johnson told TMZ. “They were going, ‘Oh my god, look at this!’ And the first thing everyone said was, ‘The Swifties have attacked.’”
All for naught, however.
“The joke is really on the Swifties and everybody that’s entertaining the reviews because Kings Grill is closed,” she added.

Let’s face it: Swifties don’t always think before they react. Now they’re leaving reviews on a restaurant in the hopes that they could destroy the livelihood of an Eagles player’s Mom, only to find out they’re shouting into the wind.
Embarrassing. Maybe just accept defeat and shake it off next time, eh?
