What happens when you get the two most famous women in America together in the same room? Some day soon we may just find out, according to Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark, who is opening up about her interactions with the legendary pop star Taylor Swift.
Clark Attends Swift Concert
Last month, Clark attended “back-to-back” Eras Tour performances during Swift’s run at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana from November 1-3. There, Clark had the chance to meet Swift’s boyfriend, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Clark, 22, was shocked by the way fans of Swift, 34, reacted to her being there. The fans, known as Swifties, turned around to take pictures of Clark and even threw friendship bracelets to her.
“People are just going crazy that I’m there,” Clark told Time Magazine. “I thought people would be so in their own world, ready to see Taylor. And it was just completely the opposite.”
By the end of the night, Clark ended up with so many friendship bracelets that they cut off circulation in her arm!
“I had a ton, all the way up the arm. I had to take them off. My circulation was getting cut off,” Clark later recalled. “Everyone was just chucking their bracelets at me.”

Swift Extends Invitation To Clark
Swift herself took notice of Clark, sending her four bags of Eras Tour merchandise. She also sent Clark a note saying that “Trav and I” would love to attend a Fever game. Perhaps best of all, Swift invited Clark to join her at a Chiefs game at some point. Given the fact that Swift is arguably the most popular pop star in the world right now, that’s quite an invitation!
Kelce, 35, also opened up about meeting Clark at Swift’s concert.
“She was into the show, for sure,” he said of Clark. “She’s a Swiftie through and through.”
“I think she’s just having fun, going and taking her friends and family and getting everyone to experience Tay up there on stage, making the entire 70,000 people go nuts for three and a half hours,” he added.

Clark Loves The Chiefs
Clark is a diehard Chiefs fan, so Swift’s invitation is especially meaningful to her.
“I’ve been a Chiefs fan since I was a young girl,” Clark revealed last month. “My brother was a Chiefs fan, my dad was a Chiefs fan, I had cousins in Kansas City that were Chiefs fans. I love it.”
When asked how she became a Chiefs’ super-fan, Clark replied, “Honestly, it was just something, all I knew. In our basement we had a Chiefs vending machine, we had toy Chiefs helmets and I’d run around and knock helmets with my brothers.”
“I had a lot of cousins in Kansas City who loved the Chiefs. It would be like a yearly thing that we would go down there and watch a Chiefs game,” she continued. “I’m not a bandwagon Chiefs fan, I was a Chiefs fan even when they weren’t very good!”
As for Swift, she wrapped up her Eras Tour in Vancouver, Canada on Sunday night. This will give her more free time to attend Kelce’s Chiefs games for the rest of the season. Here’s hoping Swift gets to bring Clark to a Chiefs game very soon!
